OpenUI SSL popup box in Miva admin under secure login session
Posted By: Kevin Tufts On: Mar 07 2008 05:05 PM
Details
This is related to Miva 4 users that login to their admin securely and see an SSL popup box.
(This concerns users of Miva 4 w/ the OpenUI module installed.)
If you log into your Miva admin securely and notice that a SSL certificate alert will popup. This is related to the OpenUI company whom has developed the OUI module for Miva has an expired certificate. This does not affect your store nor it's transactions as this only pertains to the module trying to make a call back to the OUI secure server.
Many third-party modules are developed to reference the developer's sites to stream in updates/information/etc. Since some modules make calls back to the developer site, you will receive this popup warning if their SSL's are expired while you are logged in secure on your end.
