Avoiding FrontPage Extension Corruption
Solution
FrontPage extensions are quite liable to corrupt, especially if you mix protocols.
A FrontPage web should only be published with FrontPage, and never through ftp.
If you want a different user to manage a subdirectory via ftp, you need to turn the subdirectory into a subweb.
FrontPage will not try to communicate to that directory when publishing the site, and so the extensions are less liable to become corrupt.
FrontPage and secure forms don't work together, insofar as we know. We have verified this with Microsoft.
